Over the course of a mutual e-mail bitch session, Sievert and I realized how sick and tired we were of seeing so many B.E. stories with unbelievable characters--particularly, women whose breasts suddenly grow to enormous proportions and then immediately get excited by it. We asked ourselves, "What would happen if this really happened to a woman? What would the emotions be?" Call me kooky, but if my wife's breasts suddenly started to inflate, I don't think she'd suddenly start playing with herself--she'd freaking panic on the spot. That's the logic and angle this story was written from--believable people in an unbelievable situation. In case you're wondering, Sievert and I passed ever-larger story fragments back and forth over a period of nine months before we had something we liked. I'm pretty happy with it and, of course, I'm grateful for the opportunity to share a pen with Sievert.
